Allison Antonaccio, MOT, OTR/L
Occupational Therapist
Allison is deeply dedicated to supporting her clients and their families. Guided by a strong value of advocacy and justice, she strives to create therapy that feels authentic, motivating, and centered around each child. Allison often lets children take the lead during sessions, using their interests and ideas to shape therapeutic, goal-oriented play that builds meaningful skills while helping children feel confident and understood.
Allison has experience working with neurodivergent children, including those with autism, ADHD, sensory processing differences, and social-emotional challenges. She has a particular interest in sensory processing and regulation, supporting children who seek or avoid sensory input—or who have difficulty registering it. She also has experience with feeding challenges and motor coordination differences such as dyspraxia and apraxia. Allison enjoys working collaboratively with families, offering practical strategies like co-regulation and incorporating proprioceptive input into everyday routines.
Outside of work, Allison enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, friends, and family (and their cats). She loves Pilates, crafting, going to the movies, watching football, and exploring Chicago, often with a walk along the lakefront.
