Angela Wilson Pennisi, PT, MS, DPT
Physical Therapist
Angela is passionate about helping children build confidence in how they move through the world. She believes the body responds to inputs and stressors in a predictable, physiological way—and that with a structured framework, families can better understand what’s driving their child’s movement challenges. Angela is known for her thoughtful listening, “big picture” perspective, and ability to help families weigh options with an objective lens that decreases fear of the unknown.
Angela was first drawn to physical therapy through a fascination with the powerful impact movement can have on the body’s ability to function. With more than 15 years of experience in physical therapy private practice and supporting small health care businesses, she brings both clinical depth and practical insight to her work.
Angela is excited to serve families at Synapse—a therapist-owned practice in the community she has called home for over 20 years. Outside of work, she is deeply engaged in advancing the physical therapy profession and promoting patient access to care. She also enjoys time with her family, including her two grown sons, as well as tennis, cycling, and travel.
